A tornado is a very strong wind that develops when cold, and hot air meets when that happens it creates a tornado. Tornados are very strong and big, and that’s why most people are scared of them.
The wind speed of a tornado is in the range of 300 miles and 500 kilometers. A lot of scientists recorded the fastest wind speed of a tornado and it is 318 miles per hour. They recorded it in 1999. There are very strong tornados or weak ones, but the middle-level winds can get up to 275 miles per hour.
United States have the most tornados by far more 1,000 per year have been reported every year since 1999. In united- kingdom has an average of 33 tornados reported there, but most of them are weak. Tornados are most seen on all continents except Antarctica. They are most common on continents like united states, and lots more, also the gulf states – from Texas to Florida has many weak tornados and have outbreaks. These states also experience many tornados associated with hurricanes.
Tornados can cause destruction and loss of life. That’s why most people don’t want to be in contact with tornados. People sometimes get injured or killed by objects hitting them or being rolled across the ground by the high winds. The damage from a tornado is from the strong wind tearing structures apart, and then falling on houses. Moat deaths and injuries in tornado results from mutable people that have been in the situation of a tornado.
